The Flagstaff Fruit Tree Project is an effort by Flagstaff Foodlink to prevent falling fruit from going to waste. We connect neighbors with fruit trees with volunteer pickers to harvest fruit that would otherwise go to waste, sharing the bounty between food pantries and participating volunteers. We are hosting a gleaning day on Friday, September 22nd from 4:30-6PM in the Continental Country Club neighborhood. Exact meeting location will be sent out by Tuesday afternoon before the event.

We also lend out our fruit pickers if you aren’t available for our gleaning day. If you would like to borrow a picker, please e-mail grow@flagstafffoodlink.com with the dates you need a picker and your location to best coordinate pick-up/drop-off.
